When we are owners of a house, we ought to claim it and not let the ghost of the previous owners take over. Claiming our house means taking care of it, cleaning it, maintaining it, repairing it, etc. In the same way, as we claim ownership of a house, we ought to claim ownership of our lives. We don’t have to live our lives without a purpose or without a direction. Instead, we ought to take ownership of our lives because we’re responsible for taking care of ourselves. We don’t have to be told what we should do next in our lives. We don’t have to live our lives aimlessly but with a goal in mind, is what we can look forward to doing.
