Change creates resistance. We all know that change isn’t always fun. Change is difficult sometimes. It’s a lot easier to find excuses or distractions than to accept the fact that change is inevitable.  Conquering self can free us from our self. Our feelings are not a good excuse to do nothing when it is require of us to do something to make a change. We cannot rely on our feelings to get the job done. We have to rely on self-discipline, which means that we do things anyway in spite of our fears, our doubts and our uncertainties. It is through our behaviors can we generate the feeling of confidence and self-respect, which can lower of our trepidations.
