“Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.”— Mark Twain
Mark Twain is suggesting to us to be different or to realize that we’re different in every way and then embrace it. Each and every one of us is unique. There is no one alike. There is no one like you or me. We don’t have to be more like someone but we can be more like ourselves. We have the gift of individuality that we each can bring into a group of people because each person has a unique talent. Some of us are more gifted than others while some of our gifts are underdeveloped. Isn’t it better to have an underdeveloped gift than have no gift at all? We can develop the latent gift and express it uniquely to the world to see. So we don’t have to be like the majority for us to fit in instead we can feel comfortable being in our own skin.
