When we think the grass is greener on the other side, then it may means that we’re taking things in our life for granted. A desire creates a need to have and want something. Once we fulfill that want or desire, our attention towards it ceases. When we no longer interested in it anymore then we move on to the next thing that grabs our attention. Even if we had the greenest grass in our neighborhood the novelty will eventually wear off. But we can be grateful for what we already have in our lives. We can be grateful for our physical health when others are struggling with their health. We can be grateful for still having a job during the recession. We can be grateful to have water, when other parts of the world are without. If we think about it we can all find something grateful about our lives today.
